by taxi (up to 20 euros )
Winter
gardens, can be found on the right of the main road going into
Golf
Del
Sur.
It can be seen after
passing Green Park, Golf Plaza and then Parque Albatross Apartments. The
apartment is no 74 in block 5 and is in the last block on this complex.
You usually can park on the road outside, if you require indoor parking
please ask about this as soon as possible. We can rent you a space directly
below the apartment at £2 a day. To use this you will need a remote control
posting out to you before departure.
Shops:
Local
shops are generally open from 8am till 9pm.
The
Mercadona supermarket at the top of the Golf Del Sur is the nearest place you
can purchase groceries without the tourist higher prices. It provides
internet shopping in English with delivery should you require this at: https://www.mercadona.es/entrada.php
Ask the taxi driver to point it out on the way in to Golf del Sur.
The water:
In
Tenerife tap water is not drinkable, some water will be left for you for when
you arrive. Large water
containers can be purchased at most shops including the Mercadona.
Also use this for the kettle.
In the
apartment:
We
will leave you a bottle of water and a carton of uht milk to use.
We try
to provide all the things you have at home. Therefore there is a stock of
tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, sauces, washing up liquid, dishwasher
powder etc. please help yourself, but try and make sure you replace items for
the next guest should use a substantial amount of anything.
There
are 2 hairdriers, a steam iron, and ironing board for your use.
The
linen provided includes a bath and hand towel per person, bedding, tea towel,
kitchen towel and a bath mat. Please bring your own beach towels to use by
the pool.
Sun
beds are available by the pool, free of charge, should you find them a bit
hard, you are welcome to use the 2 mattresses,
which are stored in the utility room
Internet
access:
This
is available from the Aquamarina hotel, Santa Barbara apartments and Golf
Plaza.
You
can also bring your own lap top and access wireless at the wild Geese Pub
here you have free internet access as long as you buy a drink.
Library
We are
currently developing a
book and DVD library which is growing quickly. You are welcome to swap books,
but would appreciate it if you would not swap the DVDs. Should you leave any
items to add to the collection this would be much appreciated by our future
guests.
